Marketplace Forum Rules
A. General Conduct
- Respectful Communication: Treat all members with respect and courtesy. Harassment, abusive language, and personal attacks are strictly prohibited.
- No Spamming: Avoid posting irrelevant content, advertisements, or multiple posts with the same message.
- Accurate Descriptions: Provide clear and honest descriptions of the items or services you are offering. Misleading (clickbait) information is not allowed.
- Photos: Include high-quality, accurate photos of your items. Do not use stock images unless explicitly stated.
- Pricing: Clearly state the price of the item or service. Indicate whether the price is negotiable or fixed.
- Availability: Ensure the items or services listed are available for sale. Remove listings promptly once they are sold or no longer available.
- Communication: Respond to inquiries and messages promptly. Maintain clear and professional communication throughout the transaction.
- Payment: Sellers must include their preferred or avilable payment methods. Both parties must agree on the option and terms before completing a transaction. Use secure payment methods to protect both buyers and sellers.
- Delivery: Clearly state the delivery or pickup options. Provide accurate shipping information and update the buyer on the status of their order.
- Warranty/Replacement/Refund: All sellers are required to state them clearly. Your Terms of Service and Refund Policy shall be included.
- Illegal Items: Do not list items or services that are illegal or prohibited by law..
- Counterfeit Goods: Do not sell counterfeit or pirated items. All items must be delivered as described.
- Issues and Complaints: Address any issues or complaints promptly and fairly. Work towards a resolution with the other party before involving forum moderators.
- Moderation: Moderators may step in to resolve disputes. Their decisions are final and binding.
- Personal Information: Do not share personal information such as addresses, phone numbers, or payment details publicly. Use private messages for sensitive information.
- Safety Precautions: Meet in public places for in-person transactions. Verify the credibility of buyers and sellers before proceeding with a transaction.
- Report Issues: Use the forum’s reporting tools to flag any posts or users that violate these rules. Provide as much detail as possible to help moderators take appropriate action.
- Disciplinary Action: Adhere to all marketplace rules and guidelines. Non-compliance may result in warnings, suspension, or banning from the forum.
